In 2013 our club donated money towards a Global Grant obtained by the Rotary Club of Bogota Centenario addressing serious problems with teen Pregnancies.
In Colombia, 20% of girls are pregnant by age 15-19.
The Bogota Rotary Club has partnered with the largest TV network in Colombia to develop a monthly series of serial programming promoting responsible sexual behavior to prevent AIDS and cervical cancer, as well as, setting goals for staying in school and gaining a useful education.
