District Governor Laine Hendricks
The Vision of the District

LAINE HENDRICKS has been a proud member of Rotary International for 15 years.

Raised in a family fueled by volunteerism, Laine originally joined the Rotary Club of Fresno (District 5230) in 2007 and transferred to the Rotary Club of San Francisco (District 5150) in 2010. She is a past president of the Rotary Club of San Francisco, and has served the District as an Assistant Governor, Public Image Chair, and Chief of Staff. In addition, Laine has served on the Far West President Elect Training Seminar (PETS) team since 2017, supporting training of incoming Rotary club presidents across Northern California and Nevada. She will chair Far West PETS in 2026.

Laine’s “day job” is Communications Director for the County of Marin, where she is responsible for coordinating crisis communications, media relations, advertising, community outreach, and more. Laine has been a public relations professional for almost 20 years.

Laine and her wife, Jenny – a member of the Rotary Club of Ignacio – live in San Rafael. When they’re not devoting their free time to Rotary, they enjoy traveling, trying new cuisines, or spending time with their dog, Buddy, and cat, Cruiser.
